NAHDA Salwa Program, which was launched in June 2019, is our main food pantry initiative and a sign of our dedication to easing hardship. Our goal is to forge a road toward long-term empowerment in addition to providing immediate help through food distribution, which includes our vast Pita Bread Drive. In addition to providing food, we aim to uplift individuals and families in need by locating possibilities for employment, education, and counseling. Despite the challenges brought by the COVID-19 outbreak, our program has continued to serve the community. Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, we’re here, making a positive impact by serving around 100 families in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago and beyond. We believe in uplifting the community, regardless of religious or cultural background. Join us on this remarkable journey where a loaf of bread represents more than simply food; it also represents hope, fortitude, and a better future for everybody.
